Hi! I'm Noa, born and raised in Hamburg, and currently studying illustration at the HAW in Hamburg since 2021.

My practice moves between printmaking techniques such as etching, lithography, and woodcut, and both analog and digital drawing and painting. I rarely go anywhere without my sketchbook. I’m particularly interested in capturing fleeting moments through quick sketches—observing people and expressing emotional states.

Much of my personal work is rooted in storytelling, often drawing from my own emotional and lived experiences.

Alongside my visual practice, I have been part of the alternative folk duo Tulips and Lilies since 2021. I also sew handmade dolls, combining my artistic work with my background in fashion design to create carefully crafted, one-of-a-kind pieces. Each doll is unique, with diverse hair textures and skin tones.

As an Afro-German parent, I deeply care about diversity and representation in children’s everyday worlds—from toys and picture books to film and television.
